HONEYMOON FUND
Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift we could ask for!
As we are fortunate to already have much of what we need for our home, we have chosen to create a honeymoon fund in lieu of a traditional registry. For those who would like to contribute, we would be so grateful for your support as we begin this next chapter together.

Villas & BNB’s
For the easiest and most enjoyable experience, we kindly recommend staying in or very near Ravello Square, which is where the above hotels are located.
While villas and Airbnbs can be beautiful, many are located further out than they appear on a map. Ravello has lots of steps and steep walkways, so even properties that look close can involve significant walking.
That said, we’re happy to share a few villa recommendations below for those who prefer this option (please note we haven’t confirmed availability).
TRAVEL INFO
Flights
Naples to Ravello
The easiest way to get to Ravello is by flying into Naples International Airport (NAP), then booking a car transfer from Naples to Ravello. It is approximately a 1-hour drive.
We do not recommend renting a car, unless you are experienced in driving on the Amalfi Coast, as the cliff-side roads are very narrow and winding. Please also keep in mind that parking is very limited in Ravello (and everywhere on the coast).
Rome to Ravello
If you’re traveling from Rome, we recommend arranging a private transfer that will pick you up from the airport and take you directly to Ravello. It is approximately a 3-hour drive.
There are no direct trains to Ravello. The train will take you from Rome to Naples (approximately 1.5 hours). You will then need to take a private car from the Naples train station (Napoli Centrale) to Ravello. It is approximately a 1-hour drive.
Transport
If you are looking for local contacts outside of airport transfer services, for shorter trips, please contact one of the following taxi recommendations in the links below.
Otherwise you can find the taxi rank in Ravello outside ‘Hotel Garden’ near the tunnel in Ravello.
Please note Ravello is a small town and not a big city, so Uber does not exist and taxis aren’t available 24 hours a day at the rank.
*Please note that these services will need to be booked in advance in order to avoid long waiting periods.*
General Travel Tips
ATM Withdrawals
Most ATMs only allow you to withdraw €250.00 per card per day regardless of your card type, so it is best to bring some cash with you as it is sometimes easier to pay this way in Southern Italy.
Outlets
Please check the voltage on your appliances - steamers, hair tools, phone chargers, etc. You will need a plug adapter that is compatible for the outlets in Italy, and for appliances that can't support 230v you will also need a converter.
Gratuities
Tipping is not expected in Italy although of course always appreciated.

Experiences
1. Cooking class
You will learn how to prepare a typical lunch of southern Italy’s tradition in its purest and most genuine aspect.
You will be amazed at how simple is to prepare the traditional Neapolitan Pizza.
2. Explore the city of Amalfi and the cathedral
Amalfi was one the Ancient Maritime Republics, and it is certainly worth visiting the Cathedral of Amalfi, the Arsenal Museum and the Paper Museum. We suggest you to taste the specialty of the local gastronomy: the limoncello, made with the Amalfi Coast IGP lemons; the lemon “scorzette”, and the typical Neapolitan dessert (sfogliatella, babà) at Pasticceria Pansa.
3. A sweet visit to the famous Sal de Riso pastry shop
Sal de Riso, internationally famous, is definitely the pastry chef best known in the South of Italy. Despite its delights have reached the best hotels and retail outlets in Italy and Europe, it's worth spending some time with a Delizia al Limone or a typical Ricotta e Pere cake at the pastry De Riso in Minori
4. Shopping in Positano
Positano, the pearl of Amalfi Coast, is among the most beautiful and romantic places in the world. Also known as the city of "Moda Positano" is a must to do some shopping in the many shops ranging from local handicrafts to luxury boutiques, overlooking the waterfront.
5. Take a boat tour into the Grotta dello Smeraldo Cave
The Emerald Cave is located in-between Amalfi and Praiano, the Smeraldo Cave is one of the few caves in the world that is bathed in a natural emerald light. The effect is simply amazing and the colour of the water and the cave itself are gorgeous.
The cave is accessed via an elevator on the SS163 route, or by boat, and then you can climb on one of the boats for a guided tour of this superb natural subterranean environment.
6. Kayak to a Private Cove
Some of the best spots on the Amalfi Coast are hidden from plain view. It is easy to rent your own sea kayak for a few hours, and you can find complete solitude even on the busiest summer days.
7. Take a Walk
On the Amalfi Coast there is plenty of natural beauty to explore. Between Ravello and Amalfi is the Ferriere Valley which is also known as the Valley of the Mills. This nature reserve trail takes you to waterfalls and has an amazing view of Amalfi from the top.
The Path of the Gods is a naturalistic path on the Lattari mountains that runs along the entire coastline for 7 km, from Agerola to Positano, in the fraction of Nocelle, where that the landscape becomes suggestive due to the alternation of pine forests, caves to explore and especially spectacular glimpses of the Amalfi Coast.
The Path of Lemons is a pleasant walk from Minori to Maiori, passing through the picturesque village of Torre. The name clearly refers to the lush terraced gardens, cultivated with PGI Amalfi Coast lemons, the most iconic symbol of the Amalfi Coast; already mentioned in documents since the XVI century. In the XVII century, the local historian Matteo Camera wrote that "from Minori, lemons were transported by sea to other Italian markets, together with limoncelli and bitter oranges". The path can be walked in both directions.
9. Visit the Island of Capri
Capri is a truly magical place and one of the most popular destinations on the Amalfi Coast.
This island sits just off of the western edge of the Amalfi Coast and can be reached via regular ferries from Amalfi.
Also consider taking an organised trip to see the famous Blue Cave Grotto – this cave complex is absolutely stunning and a boat trip through this subterranean world will surely impress.
9. Enjoy a boat ride from Amalfi
By taking a boat tour, you can see a large section of the coast and you do not have to worry about catching a bus or walking up the winding coastal paths.
Furthermore, from a boat, you can view the many towns such as Amalfi, Minori and Positano in all their glory – there is nothing quite like seeing the multi-coloured houses rising against the side of the cliffs and admiring the luscious green landscapes of this beautiful region.
10. Lunch on the Beach
Either If you decide to spend your day at a private beach club, or to have a boat trip, the very best part of the day is the restaurant. Book a table to one of the local beach Restaurant and make sure you are hungry at lunchtime. This is the time to try it all; antipasto, pasta, secondo and dessert. Seafood is the norm, so order things like fried totani, a local squid, anchovies, mussels and grilled fish. Ask your server what’s fresh and local. A shot of strong dark espresso and an icy sip of limoncellois the only way to end such a feast.
Some Beach Restaurant to consider:
* La Tonnarella
* Zefiro
* Da Teresa
They can be reached by boat from Amalfi.
